Our cans produce on average one hour of continuous smoke time. Smoke time may vary depending on factors such as grill heat and humidity when the pellets were manufactured. Extremely high grill heat could reduce smoking time down to 45 minutes, while high humidity when the pellets were manufactured could increase smoking time to an hour and fifteen minutes.
Smoking time is also reduced when the can is partially used and then reused at a later date. Generally on short 15 minute cooks with items such as burgers, you can get three uses per can.
Our current wood selection is based upon the availibility of wood to us as well as our ability to sell our product. We are constantly growing and do from time to time look at adding to our wood choices factoring in supply and demand. If you would like us to carry a particular wood type, please contact us and we will consider your requests the next time we look at expanding our product line.
